While addressing a press conference in Jamia Hadia, he also directed his party workers and activists to make full preparations for the forthcoming elections, and berated those who were trying to boycott the elections, adding that those who do not contest the elections do not form a part of the democratic process either.

He also advised "certain elements " to give their statements with great care and discretion, since JUI is also an active member of MMA Alliance and is bound only to collective decisions.

He said that MMA would not enter into any political alliance but however there could/would be seat adjustments as authorized by district level leaders.

He also expressed his great regrets at rejection of nomination papers of Mian Nawaz Sharif, and despite expressing his total disbelief at fairness and transparency in the elections vowed not to leave the options open and contest them.

Replying to a question, he added, "Besides, the decision of boycotting elections would have been only effective, if taken with consensus".

He also expressed his complete solidarity with judiciary and demanded immediate reinstatement of deposed judges, alongwith supremacy of law and constitution.

He informed that MMA has applied for the election symbol of book, and if any party demands the same symbol for itself it means that party wants a solo flight.
