ISLAMABAD, Dec 18 (APP): Secretary General Pakistan Muslim League Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed Monday said
Muslim League and its leaders played pivotal role in Pakistan movement which is filled with sacrifices and conducive
contribution to reshaping the history. Mushahid said the hundred years of PML have been a history of struggle and sacrifices and in this period, the Muslim
League made a conducive contribution to reshaping the history of a region.

Muslim League was born on December 30, 2006.
Mushahid said without Muslim League and Quaid-i-Azam, there would have been no Pakistan.
He said the leadership of Quaid-i-Azam's stands out among all the stalwarts of the freedom struggle on both sides of the
divide. He said Quaid-e-Azam was a man of character, unimpeachable integrity and unwavering commitment to the
cause of Muslims of the sub-continent.
Referring to the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, he said "Imagine, the leadership of the Quaid as
compared to the contemporary realities of Pakistani politics where most traditional politicians assumed that you cannot
achieve your goal without the backing of big money, the establishment or prone to believe that the road to Islamabad lies
through Washington."
Mushahid said, "We can understand the significance and unique achievement of the leadership of the Quaid if we are able to understand what the Quaid was not."
He said Quaid-i-Azam was not a traditional politician, not a feudal, not an industrialist, not a cleric, not a bureaucrat, had
no army, had no sect and he did not even speak any of the local languages and not 'Munafik'.
The PML Secretary General said Quaid-e-Azam was a self made professional whose character and quality of leadership
inspired millions.
Referring to the struggle for hearts and minds among two schools of thought in 1857, starting with Sir Syed Ahmed
Khan, he said Aligarh University was the nursery for providing educated cadre and a leadership of the Pakistan
movement through modern education and enlightenment.
He said it was also promoted by Allama Iqbal who gave the right of Ijtehad to an elected parliament.
The Secretary General PML said, "When today, we seek to preserve, protect and promote the rights of women, the
minorities of other dispossessed sections we are only pursuing the vision of our founding fathers."
He expressed the hope that the conference during this deliberation will also set the record straight about doubt light of
misconception and also focus on different facets of the glorious struggle of the Muslim League.

No doubt Muslim League and its leaders tried best as they could to create Pakistan.............But no one know that "aaj kal k leaders Pakistan ko kahan le ker jaa rahay hain??? "
