In the worst economic condition, where lots of businesses go into loss and declares bankrupt many organizations lay off the work force, which indeed due to no business at all but this hit the employees hardest, in terms of job loss, it is always hard to find another job and specially when someone has a big family to support.
But the practice of outsourcing the jobs in different countries like India and China is like bringing more disaster to own people who are losing their jobs unnecessary and going into dire financial conditions. The latest victims of such outsourcing for jobs were the 280 employees of RBC, who were told that their jobs are gone to India. Although, according to spoke person of Royal Bank said “ we are very excellent in placing these people with jobs”. One can only hope that 280 people will be able to find work again within RBC.
Canada is the country known for opportunities and a place for growth, that is the reason why many immigrants are now settling and calling Canada their new home, but why is that immigrants are being encourage to come to Canada, when jobs are being going to other countries, it is totally unacceptable and highly condemnable action of any business in Canada.
It is always said that money is the most that matters, and yes of course it is, but those businesses who wants to turn their $100.00 bill into $100,000.00 should also know, that they should share the joy together with their employees and not alone. There are many employees who are shared their saving by investing in company shares and that helps companies to run efficiently as well, then why the jobs are being sent abroad, when local people can do the job better and more efficiently.
It is time to compensate the innocent employees, who lost their jobs in matter of minutes, go into desperation, depression and agony and pain, while these so-called businessmen makes the money and walks away just like a tissue used and then throw into garbage. They don’t realize what will become of some many employees, who lost jobs, how they will pay their mortgages, rent and feed their families.
It won’t be a surprise, that one morning the TTC employees will wake up to find out that there are no more required to drive buses due to outsourcing of jobs, and TTC buses and trains are running with remote control and GPS system in India.
It is an appeal to Prime Minister, Premier Dalton McGuinty, and MPs and MPPs, to make a law to ban the practice of outsourcing of jobs from Canada to other countries and keep Canadians heritage alive of Canada being the best place to work and live.
God Bless Canada!!!
