    Ali Asjad Malhi was born in Lahore on February 22, 1975. He was elected for his first tenure as MNA on a PML(Q) seat. He has previously been elected as Naib Nazim District Sialkot and has served the term from 2001-2002. He is currently serving as Minister of State for Railways Division.
    An agriculturist and businessman by profession, his educational qualifications include a Masters degree in Design from the National Council of Arts in 1998.
    A member of the Malhi Welfare Association, he has travelled to the U.S.A., U.K. and South East Asia. He is married and is the father of a daughter. He is currently serving as Parliamentary Secretary for Cabinet Secretariat.
